This form is for birthday parties, bowling matches, bat mitzvahs, sit-ins, walk-a-thons, store openings, space shuttle launches, tea parties and everything in between.
In the past, people have given up their birthdays, held cocktail parties, put up lemonade stands and sold their old clothes to help us give people clean water. We've been to churches, nightclubs, luxury condo openings, school rallies, and international summits.
In short, we're happy to help anyone who wants to raise money for water, but sometimes we dont have the resources to do much more than send some flyers. But we always try.
So please tell us more about your event below, and we'll tell you how much we can help.
Please note that we ask a commitment of at least one well to consider sending a staff member to an event.
A few things we'd like you to know before you fill out this application:
1. The goal of the event should be to bring clean water to people who need it most, not to enhance your brand, get cool people to come, or to get press. That being said, we retain the full right to withhold use of our name and logo, and/or decline the event.
2. We can not let anyone use our 501c3 status to solicit donations of any kind. It's not legal. This doesn't mean that you can't receive donations for the event, it means the donors will not receive tax deductions.
3. We rarely send our collateral to non-hosted events (that means an event we are not organizing), so if you need anything that is not in the "I want" section below, we may not be able to accommodate.
4. Due to our small office staff, we REQUIRE at least one well be built ($5000) to consider sending a staff member to any event.
